Arnild Swoonzenorger: I hate R&R weekends, damn them to the eternal fires of the demon world N'Gjhr'loup! I forced myself into hibernation for the last week to stem the rage which boils within me! Give me Bloodbowl!!
Phillipe: After your last Gatorage infused 'rage', it's probably best for everyone that you slept through it all! We have four games for you all to look forward to this week, but before that we were all treated to a midweek game between one each of our Skaven and Orc teams!
Londown Warps (5) Vs (0) Wakky Whiddetz
After the scoreless beatdownathon that The Wakky Boys and Dragons Unleashed participated in on Week 5, the Greenskin fans had been champing at the bit to see some touchdowns. Unfortunately for them however they got their wish, with Warps scoring a season best equalling five scores against them!
Arnild: Hurhurhur, Arnild loves irony!
Phillipe: Indeed. Unlike The Riverbanks who were pounded by the same score line the week before by the Nighthawks, they did not have someone switching their armour to papier mache copies. Instead both teams were put under the strain of a freak heat wave, signalling both the beginning and end of the the Middenland's single day of summer. The majority of the Warps team are used to the hot and humid stenches of the Old World's sewers and dealt with the the heat well, but with most of the Wakky Whiddetz front line hailing from the Northern Wastes they began to suffer under the oppressive sun! The constant heat resulted in three of the four Black Ork blockers deciding to sleep through the hottest part of the day, and missed the second half entirely!
This win for the London Warps has made the top of the South Division very interesting, with the majority of the league in a great position to push for the play offs!
