Phillipe: Oh boy am I excited for our second week of games, with some cracking matches lined up! We have also had a six score thriller of a mid-week match take place between the marvellous Midgard Marvels and tumultuous Tails Of The River Bank!
After their beatdown last week at the hands of the Bar'Dhum Breakers, the 'Riverbanks' certainly wasted no time in proving they had what it takes to get the pig skin into the endzone, it is just unfortunate for them that they were unable to stop the Marvels equalising after every score made! The game ended in a 3-3 draw, with the Marvels venting their frustration at the Skaven's slipperiness by putting three rats in the injury room. As a result this puts a point on the league board for the 'Riverbanks', but leaves them at an eyebrow raising -7 for casualties! Looking to stop the rot in this area, or rather the broken bones and torn limbs, the Skaven team have brought in the services of a Rat Ogre to terrorise the front lines! The draw brings the 'Marvels' up to 2 points after as many games, but don't write them out of the play off places yet, as their passing game is really beginning to take shape!

Phillipe: Oh Arni, you know they would have been scrapped of the Astrogranite and thrown into hot dog mix by now!

Phillipe: Well, er, we appear to have lost Arni for now, so let's show you this week's fixtures whilst we clean up the apprentice who just took the full force of Arni's elbow to the neck; he should've known better than be in the way of the gents!

This week we will see the debut of three new teams; Hug A Tree United, who missed the first week whilst picking flowers and herbs in Laurelorn Forest, Music Or The Lizery, who were held up on the journey to Middenland due to cold weather, and the Nagash Nightmares, who have strangely spent the last week hanging around the injury rooms of our Skaven teams.
As Arni is otherwise detained, feeling the full morning effects of the home brewed Flabbybun's Sausage & Cheese cider, I will say goodbye for him and myself, may Nuffle bless and see you ti'night ball fans!
