Gridiron Gaze - Week 3 Round Up

Phillipe Flabbybun: Greetings and welcome to Gridiron Gaze, your one stop shop for all your Middenland Open Division news! Arni and myself are joined this week by Kristov Kristoverson, brand manager at Cheap Shot Sports! You've brought with you the brand new sports drink from Cheap Shot Sports to show off, haven't you Kris?

Kristov Kristoverson: Yes.

Phillipe: ...and what's it called?

Kristov: GatorRage.

Philipe: ...can you tell me anything about it? Did you bring a sample.

Kristov: Yes. Your colleague drank it.

Arnild Swoonzenorger: I HAVE SWALLOWED THE JUICE OF THE GODS, AND THE SWEET POISON FILLS MY VEINS WITH FIRE!! I AM LEAVING TO RIP THE BLACKENED, BEATING HEARTS OF MY ENEMIES FROM THEIR CHESTS AND TOAST THE ORGAN OVER A BONFIRE OF THEIR ASHES! I WILL TEAR THE FINGERS FROM THEIR HANDS ARE JAM THE DIGITS UP THEIR NOSES! BLOOD WILL SPILL INTO MY CUP, AND I WILL QUAFF ON THEIR VIGOUR! I AM A MIGHTY WARRIOR DESTINED FOR ETERNAL LIFE IN VALHALLA!!

We're now into the third week of the league, and have three games to look forward to this weekend;

Hug A Tree United VS The Undercity Speedsters
Wakky Whiddettz VS Music Or The Lizery
Nu Ork Jetz VS Orocarni Stiffbeards

In a what is pegged by bookies to be a fast paced game with a number of touchdowns, Hug A Tree United take on The Undercity Speedsters with both teams in search of points to boost their position in the table. The Huger's marketing campaign has begun to hot up, and their forecasted team shirt sales could well rely on a win!

Our second game is bound to be a messy one, with the Orc ground'n'pounders, Wakky Whiddettz, taking on the free scoring Lizardmen, Music Or The Lizery. The Music's will be looking to their star Saraus 'Tiny' to make an impact on the line on scrimmage, as The Wakky Boyz are bound to bring all the Black Orks they can squeeze into a dressing room!

Our last match is between the two last teams to make an appearance in the M.A.D., the Nu Ork Jetz and the Orocarni Stiffbeards. The Jetterz have finally finished their pillaging of the villages around the Middenland, with headcoach Graz Da Great claiming in a recent interview that "Bashing dem 'Ummies iz gud ball praktiz". The 'Ummies' in said villages have disagreed. For the Orocarni Stiffbeards one of the longest journey's to the Middenland in the league was made that much longer after the team got lost on route and circled the Middle Mountains twice. Rumours have it that The Stiffbeards now own every drinking record in all adjacent areas to the mountains!
